Brighton & Hove is renowned for its elegant Regency terraces, Victorian townhouses and distinctive period properties, many of which require a more considered approach to painting and decorating. Older buildings were often constructed using traditional materials that need to breathe, making the choice of paint and coatings particularly important.

At REED Decorators, we carefully consider the age, condition and construction of each property when selecting suitable products and finishes. Where appropriate, we use breathable coatings that allow moisture to escape, helping protect traditional plasterwork, masonry and exterior surfaces. We also understand the importance of proper surface preparation and selecting compatible products for existing finishes, rather than simply painting over underlying issues. From protecting exterior woodwork against the coastal elements to achieving a flawless finish inside your home, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship tailored to your property's individual needs.
